Pumpkin Patch 2019

Last Friday we went to Wilkerson Farms and it was so much fun! The farm was the perfect size for Will to walk around and explore. They had a mini corn maze made out of haystacks, a small animal farm, carnival rides, pumpkins, and a hay ride.

William found the small pumpkins and quickly started throwing them as far as he could. He thought it was very exciting! Don't worry we had him put them all back. He also loved feeling the pumpkins that look like they have warts on them. It was cute! He'd look at me while scrunching his hands and "feeling" the bumps, and then would smile and walk to the next pumpkin.

Since Will has been learning all of the animal sounds, seeing animals in person was really fun. He can now say "Quack Quack", "Oo Oo Aa Aa", "Woof Woof", and his favorite, "ROAR"! Obviously they didn't have monkeys or lions, but he did like the pig, sheep, and ducks! The pig kept coming up really close to Will and he thought it was hilarious! William's laugh is the best!

Will's favorite part of the night was going down the black tube-looking slides. He just wanted to go down the slide over and over again, so Braden and I took turns taking him up and going down.

I love how fall forces you to get outside because you know what is coming...WINTER! We have been spending LOTS of time outside these days to soak it all in before we are trapped inside all winter. I'm holding on to fall as long as I possibly can!
