William’s first flight! He did amazing. Didn’t even fuss once!
Fun in the sun! At first Will was a little overwhelmed with the humidity, but he was a champ! We kept putting wet towels on him to keep him cool (very fashionable)! The heat mostly made him super tired and sleepy all the time. One night he even slept for like 12 hours! Maybe we should turn the AC off in our apartment… haha ;) JK.
Will wasn’t sure how he felt about the sand…we were excited for him though! (typical first-time parent excitement). My little sis Emma was a great helper throughout the trip, always offering to help and change Will’s diapers!
My fabulous siblings! LOVE THEM. I also can’t believe how old they are all getting!
Mama with her (little) boy <3
One of my favorite parts of the vacation – sunsets on the beach! (although mosquitos attacked us right after these were taken…) Will also had the biggest blowout of his life so far, making our beautiful sunset smelly too.
On a morning run in beautiful Mexico! I about died since it was my first time running again since early pregnancy…but Braden rocked it! He even had a little man-bun going on! He grew it out all summer for this moment! haha ;)
There was lots of time for snuggling and sun-bathing! It was fun putting Will in his little swim outfits and sun-hats. I loved it. Probably too much <3 Will was definitely the center of attention! Everyone wanted to snuggle and take naps with him!
Church in Punta de Mita! Will wasn’t a happy camper, but we had 2 great helpers (Gisela & Emma) who watched him in the foyer.
The view from our balcony! It was beautiful. I loved spending the week with my love, my bff (s)!
Presenting…The Watkins Family. I still can’t believe there are three of us now!
The Skonnard family is complete (finally)!
I became the family photographer since we don’t have any Skonnard family pictures with Braden and Will! I don’t know much about posing families…but we tried our best to make it work (thank you 10-second timer)! Braden also got some hilarious selfies with William on the beach while I was trying to get the perfect setup figured out. I’m glad we have these pictures to remember the trip and how little Will was his first time out of the country (2 months!). Don’t even get me started on his passport photo…it is probably the cutest and funniest thing in the whole world!
We had so much fun eating Mexican food, enjoying the warm weather, and playing games. It was also nice to spend more time with Michael since he’s been away for 2 years on an lds mission. Growing up I always looked forward to these family vacations because of the one-on-one time we would get with each other. It’s my favorite! Now I look forward to them even more since I’m married and don’t live with my parents and siblings anymore. Mexico with Braden, William, and my family was one for the books! Thank you Mom & Dad for inviting us to come along!
